Dec. 11th – Molly’s special shortbread

Jessie sat up and sniffed. The rich aroma of shortbread filled the air of Molly’s little kitchen. Jessie’s mouth watered, and she barked hoping for a treat.

Molly laughed, and gave Jessie a cooled cookie. “That’s all for this afternoon Jessie. I’m afraid you’re house-bound for the rest of the day. It’s my mom’s birthday tomorrow, and my family is coming for a celebration. So, no adventures for you today. Why don’t you go, and sleep by the fire. Dec. 11th – Jessie, Molly and Santa visit the Poinsettia greenhouse

It was mid-morning when Santa called Jessie to the door. He had a list longer than his arm and was examining it in detail.

“Let’s go for a ride, Jessie. I have a few Christmas gifts that I have to buy down in Southern Ontario.”
