Jessie’s Favorite Ginger Cookies

1 cup butterGingerCookie

1 cup sugar

1 cup molasses

1 egg

4 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp cinnamon

2 1/2 tsp ginger

1 tsp cloves

1 tsp nutmeg

2 tsp salt

Cream butter, sugar, molasses and egg until light and fluffy.  Mix in remaining ingredients.  Roll in floured parchment and chill overnight.

Roll and cut out.  Bake at 35o degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes
