July 28th – Santa’s Cruisin Playlist

Santa and Jessie travel across the country to the various manufacturing facilities, schools, fundraisers and conventions.  When the sleigh is not suitable he likes to ride in a red convertible with the tunes cranked up.  He has quite eclectic taste in music.  Below are the top 10 of his favorite tunes for summer.

July 27th – Molly’s Easy Christmas Tags

 

  • Cut a rectangular piece of paper from card stock.
  • You will now have a strip.  Fold it in half lengthwise to look like a book.
  • Cut with straight or decorative scissors along the opening to size the tag.
  • From old cards or heavy patterned paper cut a square that will fit inside your folded card.
  • At the upper edge of the book punch a hole so that the hole goes through the spine, as well as, the square of patterned paper.
  • Tie with ribbon or bias tape.
  • Cards can be embellished with sparkles or stick on jewels.

July 26th – The Christmas Ornament Factory

 

Ornament

The trees glistened with lights, shiny balls and angels.  Specialty ornaments including birds, animals, sports team logos and cartoon characters lined the walls of the building.  From somewhere above, Christmas music rang through the air as workers filled boxes with orders.

“We have been able to gather ornaments from around the world.  We carry mostly glass, porcelain and china but we can obtain other materials if required.  What can we do to help you Santa?” A stout man, the owner of the Christmas ornament factory, leaned against a forklift and smiled.  He glanced down at Jessie and shuffled a little away from her.
