Molly’s special Hazelnut Brownies

Molly, Santa and Jessie have been invited to a picnic at Molly’s sisters down south.  Molly shuffled through her recipes to look for something perfect to bring to the celebration.  After hours of looking she decided to bring her mother’s recipe for Hazelnut Raspberry Brownies.  She loves how the tart raspberries combine with the rich chocolate.Molly's Special Hazelnut Brownies

At the party everyone loved Molly’s dessert and requested the recipe.  She has typed it out below for all her friends to enjoy.


1/4 cup hazelnut coffee
7 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup melted butter
2 cups stevia
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
t tsp salt
1 cup flour
1 cup raspberries
1 cup chocolate chips

Incorporate all ingredients into a large bowl and mix until smooth. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in a glass pan for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and ice. Store in refrigerator.

Hazelnut Icing
1/2 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
1/8 cup hazelnut coffee
1 2/4 cups icing sugar
1 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp salt

  • Molly Claus was named after her great grandmother who was one of the first doctors in Canada.

  • Molly’s favorite sweater embroidered animals sewn on the front of it.  She got it as a gift from an elf girl who was sick in the hospital.
  • Molly volunteers at the North Pole hospital where she hands out comic books and puzzles to sick children.  She also visits with the children when their lonely.
  • Molly has 200 recipes for candy that she created herself. Each year she creates a new recipe for the children’s stockings.
  • Molly has been trying to learn to knit since she was a child. While she is an excellent sewer her knitting always turns out wonky.
  • Molly has entered several marathons.  She has never come in first but she always finishes.
  • Molly is a god-mother to 35 elf children.
  • Molly loves potato chips.  Her favorite kind is dill pickle.
  • Molly has many friends from when she went to school.  Each year her friends get together to visit in a different place around the world.  This year they visited France.

The Halloween Garden


Jessie sniffed the ground around her trying to reach as far as she could on the lead.  Molly, Santa and Jessie were walking through Claus park to enjoy the Halloween celebrations.

First, they had visited the Kooky kitchen where they had eaten caramel apples and drank blood soup (Watermelon juice).  Then, they had visited the craft center where Molly checked on the children and the giant glow in the dark skeletons that they were painting.  Now, they were on their way to something Molly called the Halloween garden.
